Last week, I took a break from blogging in order to allow myself to relax and meditate my thoughts at home. I wanted to exercise my mind before refreshing my writing. I love blogging and I enjoy having my own work schedule. Also, I admire doing my creative projects I work on. But, I sometimes lost my time for a few hours in consequence of that I attempt to get my ideas of writing a post. Furthermore, I’ve got some ways to overcome my blogger burnout. I have my only one special way: eating CHOCOLATE. This is my secret key to overcoming my blogger burnout. I know that I have type 1 diabetes. I could not help that because of my crazy tasteful temptation. It also helps energize my mind.
What is Blogger Burnout?
Blogger Burnout is described as a blogger experiences emotionally overwhelmed, frustrated, and exhausted. These signs of blogger burnout are easily noticed by you because you know your feelings. Importantly, you need to find some ways to avoid your blogger burnout.
16 Ways To Avoid Blogger Burnout
- Learn how to say no. Your spouse and children want you to be with them because they miss you a lot. You need to find some ways to say no to review requests and guest postings.
- Sign off everything from your computer. You need to take a break and sign off from your computer in order to relax your mind and your body.
- Clear out all junk and unnecessary emails. Wiping up your old emails and junk emails. Don’t read all emails all day. Creating the email folders is a good idea, that is where you can move some emails from the inbox to each folder. Just save some important emails you may want to read later.
- Hire the Virtual Assistant to do your multitasking stuff. ONE person can do everything at once. I do not think so! I bet that you might feel overwhelmed in consequence of that you don’t feel like to do your multitasking stuff at once. Get a skillful virtual assistant to help you complete your tasks.
- Set your own home office. Set your desk supplies on your favorite desk where you can feel comfortable and clear the junk letters off. Throw away some old product samples you wrote the past reviews.
- Your social media and comments boundaries. Learn to stay in your boundaries with your readers, fans, and bloggers. Make sure to not let them take it personally.
- Spend more time with your friends and family. Since you blog oftentimes, you might notice that your family and friends who never read your blog. You think that they do not care about your blog. Most of all, you want to spend time with your friends and family and you help them understand why you blog.
- Cellphone boundaries. You need to leave your cell phones in anywhere at home, except your bedroom. You need to limit your cell phone time and catch up with your spouse in your bed. Charging up your cell phone in the living room or the kitchen for the next day.
- Find your blogging partner (or supporter). Since you feel down, you need somebody to give you more support. Open your communication with your blogging partner or supporter, he or she would be happy to listen and understand your needs.
- Pick your one day off. Of course, you need to take a day off from your blog in order to get out of the house and refresh yourself outside. Enjoy your day off.
- Scheduling your posts. You need to schedule your posts before taking your day off. Otherwise, you can ask your virtual assistant to help schedule your posts. - Mediating your thoughts. Take a breath and relax. Count 1-2-3 and mediate your thought. Just rest yourself and think about what you want to write. No matter how long you can think restfully, you can still sit down on your favorite chair and begin mediating on your thoughts.
- Make some changing habits. You need to take a break from blogging and start hanging out with your spouse (or your best friend) or cleaning up at home. And you might find some ways to declutter things at home.
- Grab your blog planner. You can start your writing plan and brainstorm your post draft title. Also, you can begin to mark and schedule your posts on your social medias such as Facebook, Twitter, and other social medias.
- Manage your time wisely. Make a commitment to your plan personally for your time wisely.
